A great place to go for hiking. There are more than 10 trails for one day hike. There is a small restaurant that visitors can have a simple Hakka food, Hakka Green Tea， Ice cream...etc. It's better to visit the visitor center to get a better idea of the area. The hiking trail has been reconstructed, therefore it is easy to hike. Some other trails have stairs and some are flat. There are 7 buses going from ChuBei train station directly to the visitor center.

It’s pretty nice here. There aren’t any amazing views here like many other hiking trails around Taiwan (hualien, taitung, etc) but it’s a nice escape from the city if you’re in the hsinchu or zhunan area. Some nice temples. I wasn’t here when all the flowers are around; will come back then for a much better view.
