What an extraordinary morning experience my pops, gramps and I got to enjoy today! The sun wasn’t even up yet and my pops brought me along to Chaojhou’s own national park for my morning stroll. This place has a bunch of new smells and other dogs that had collars but couldn’t tell who their Alpha was. Ample parking spaces for buses, family cars and motorbikes. The public bathrooms are clean and even had trash bins for my pops to throw my poop away!! Lots of fancy things called “art” but also lots of restrictions. Only one side of the park was dog friendly. So we played on the side that didn’t have restrictions for pups and had a blast. Pingtung what a beautiful city. [=

This park is an excellent location for gatherings with friends and family. You can also rent bicycles and experience various activities. Additionally, admission is free.

Great for a nice stroll or bike riding. It has many areas that can be used for picnics. Pets are allowed. Bathroom facilities are clean and well kept. Staff is friendly and courteous.

By far, this is my favortite forest park in South Taiwan. There are three official recommended routes - A casual stroll (45min), Ecological Trail Experience (70min) and Four Seasons Pastoral Tour (70min). I have already been here twice, on my trip for searching 24 Solar Terms which were randomly setting off the trails.
